About Me

I’m a Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP), Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS) and have a First Class Honours Degree (BSc Hons) in Applied Computing.

I started off working in IT back in 1992, reaching the technical summit as an IT Architect a few years later. This was great, but the more I worked solving business problems with the help of technology the more I enjoyed getting involved at the sharp end of the business – sales and marketing.

So I began applying my hard-earned technical skills directly in sales & marketing projects. This proved rather a success, as a strong technical background is becoming more and more important in many fields of business – sales & marketing included.

Ten years of search marketing, email marketing, website analytics, customer relationship management, customer retention, lead generation, sales process improvement, and a whole lot more passed by in a flash…

Which leads me to where I am now – an independent consultant helping companies get more customers, make more sales and grow their business.

And I’m enjoying every minute of it.
